Squids, any deepsea type animal is pretty creepy.

I honestly don't know of any that come to mind VERY quickly. I don't like many horror/suspense movies. They are generally poorly made and cliche with no meaning.

-Never lived in a rural place. Stayed at a hotel in Birmingham, AL, for 5 days. Pretty rural and slow moving but not so bad. Got lost in the freakin backwoods of New York state on a foggy day once. That was great. haha
-Definitely my old friend Ashleys parents place someplace in Alabama where there were only dirt roads, no traffic lights, no street lights, and you felt like you could be shot at any moment with a shotgun from someones porch.
-Not scary per se but I do remember it being funny how obviously cliché the environments were for horror movie-like circumstances!
-After I saw the Nightmare on Elm Street where the bathtub caves in and theres a huge ocean underneath where Freddy kills the woman who was in the tub
I was as quick as possible when showering. I also used to pull the shower curtain open all the way if I was going into the bathroom and it was closed to make sure no one was there.
-Im actually pretty good with fears. Id prefer not to be in a room with snakes or at the top of a tall building looking down over the edge but Im certainly not afraid of it.
-Nope
-Sometimes if the gore is excessive I lose interest in watching but it doesnt really bother me.
-Nope
-Not frighten but when youre not expecting a loud noise and then BANG sometimes I do jump
not ALWAYS but sometimes.
-Seven, Event Horizon isnt bad that scared the crap out of me when I was younger, Wes Cravens New Nightmare was pretty good. The Ring wasnt bad til the crap ending.

Resident Evil Precedent Thought
After thinking about it more, the Resident Evil games in general, are very similar to my project. The characters are usually introduced to an unknown and eerie environment, where they are forced to explore and interact with objects to further the game. There are also numerous obstacles and characters that the players character comes in contact with. I think these games may be a bigger influence than I had previously thought..
Website Up
Put up my website last night, it is very basic right now and I plan to update it and redesign it as I make more progress with my project.

Brief Update
I have to decided to create an interactive narrative in the 1st person point of view. I am going to use the core3 flash project as an influence, or a base. I want to do something similar to that, in regards to the feelings it conveys(I want this piece to be scary, eerie, and perhaps disturbing). I want to change all of the graphics, and I need to develop the narrative. I would like to make it more of an animation piece, than a flash piece; instead of a simple zoom, I want the audience to see the character walking through a field, or wherever they may be.
I would also like to do a advertisement package for this interactive narrative project. I wish to do a poster, teaser, and website.
Narrative:
The narrative will start off with the character, which I have yet to develop, waking up in the middle of a field, in the middle of nowhere (perhaps a field in the very rural and isolated part of the Southern United States. The main character, of whose eyes you will be seeing from, will wake up with no knowledge of who he is, or how he got there. He will have to explore his surroundings to figure out where he is and who he is.
Style:
I want to go with a dark and photographic approach(appose to a more graphical, cartoonish style)
Inspiration/precedents:
An AMC network spot: View Quicktime
From the first person point-of-view, someone is running through a graveyard. This commercial was done by Shilo; http://www.shilodesign.com
Resident Evil Game: The storyline of one of the Resident Evil games, which one I cannot remember exactly, involves the players character suffering from amnesia, as he explores his environment, he encounters different situations and slowly gains knowledge of his identity.
-- Will post more specific and detailed information soon...
